Steph Curry scored 25 points in the first quarter against Washington.
The Golden State Warriors are going to win the NBA Finals. There’s really no way to argue against it, as barring some totally unfair injury that the team suffers, there is no way for anyone to stop them. Golden State is even harder to stop when Steph Curry is spitting fire on the court, which is what he did in the first quarter against the Wizards.
Curry scored 25 points in the first quarter — just the first — and ended up with 31 points through the first fourteen minutes of the game. It’s performances like this that not only make us want to give Curry the MVP but just straight up cancel the season right now.

The Wizards aren’t playing terrible basketball and John Wall is actually turning in some highlights of his won. But when you’re going up against Steph Curry, you might as well just watch like the rest of us. Nothing the Wizards do works, and Curry has just mauled them in every way on Wednesday night.
Curry and the Dubs aren’t going to win every single game this season, and they’re not going to go off like this in every game either. But when they’re firing — and specifically when Curry is firing — it’s dangerous to our health.
