The Florida State Seminoles announced their 2016 football signing class.

It’s another year and another impressive haul in recruiting for the Florida State Seminoles. The team once again hung around the top of the nation in classes under Jimbo Fisher and according to Scout.com, the Seminoles’ class is the N0. 3 class in the nation.

The Seminoles finished with six players in Scout.com’s top-100, and landed two five-star recruits and 15 four-star recruits. The two recruits that stick out for the Seminoles are five-star cornerback Levonta Taylor, who is the No. 1 cornerback in the nation.Ā Florida State’s other five-star recruit is defensive end Brian Burns. Burns was ranked the No. 5 defensive end in the nation and is expected to be the next great defensive lineman at Florida State.

Along with the two five-star recruits, the Seminoles added plenty of depth with their 2016 class. The team really loaded up on the interior, landing plenty of defensive linemen and offensive linemen as well. They didn’t go light on the skill position players either, as they added some talented defensive backs to the roster.

Overall, this is a strong haul for the Seminoles and one that should really help them toward their goal of winning their next National Championship.
