Charlotte Hornets owner Michael Jordan snubbed Spencer Hawes on a hug after the Hornets defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Charlotte Hornets pulled off their biggest win of the season on Wednesday night, when they defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers at home in front of a capacity crowd. After the game, owner Michael Jordan was right there on the Hornets’ bench to congratulate his players.

As each player went by, Jordan gave them a big hug and some much needed love after the huge win. When Spencer Hawes went in for a hug, the all-time greatest to ever play snubbed him of a hug and gave some semblance of a handshake.

Ouch.

There’s plenty of reason to be happy after a big win, but to not be able to get some love from the owner is a little harsh. While Hawes is certainly not the engine that makes the Hornets go on a nightly basis, it would have been nice if he got shown a little love.

After all, his team just pulled off their biggest win of the season and everyone in the arena in Charlotte is in a good mood. Perhaps Hawes can go out and play the game of his life next game and then try to get that hug.

You can do it, Spencer!
