What does Notre DameĀ Football’s 2016 recruiting class look like on National Signing Day?

Brian Kelly has put together a solid recruiting class for Notre Dame football in 2016 and he even landed some unexpected talent, such as three-star linebacker Jonathan Jones from Florida. The Fighting Irish have an impressive haul overall, and might even be waiting for five-star Demetris Robertson who has announced he won’t be deciding on signing day.

Notre Dame had to wait until 8:30 p.m. for the announcement of Caleb Kelly, who was the top remaining target to decide on Wednesday, and he chose Oklahoma.

Tommy Kraemer is the top dog in the class, ranking No. 37 overall onĀ Scout, and will be an instant impacter as an offensive tackle. He’s joined by fellow four-star offensive tackle, No. 79 overall, Liam Eichenberg who also signed his National Letter of Intent Wednesday. Three-star guard Parker Bodreaux rounds out the offensive line signees.

Daelin Hayes, considered as a five-star by some recruiting services, ranks No. 240 overall onĀ Scout and will be a tremendous outside linebacker for the Irish. Fellow Michigan recruit Khalid Kareem, a former Michigan State and Alabama commit, is a solid four-star defensive end who was a steal from up north.

Don’t sleep on the offensive skill position depth, either. Besides waiting on Demetris Robertson to decide, top-100 receiver Javon McKinley and four-star running back Tony Jones make up a talented class.
