Twitter absolutely blew up after the No. 1 overall recruit Rashan Gary committed to Michigan on National Signing Day.
The 2016 recruiting class had plenty of big names, but none bigger than the No. 1 overall recruit Rashan Gary. The defensive tackle had many suitors chasing after him and on National Signing Day, Gary alongside his whole family, announced his decision to join the Michigan Wolverines.
Coach Jim Harbaugh has been making a huge statement with his recruiting class with several top recruits from across the nation. There’s no question however that Michigan landed the biggest name on the list. Everyone in the nation was after Gary and he is going to be a force for years to come for the Wolverines.
After Gary announced his decision to join Michigan and the powerhouse that Harbaugh is building, Twitter absolutely blew up over Gary’s decision to join the Wolverines.

Everyone on Twitter knows that Michigan just landed themselves a powerhouse. While the fans of the programs that didn’t land Gary are noticeably upset with his decision, the fans in Ann Arbor are rejoicing over the fact that he just picked their program.
