The Stanford Cardinal announced their 2016 football signing class.

After winning the Rose Bowl and finishing off a strong campaign as Pac-12 Champions, the Stanford Cardinal came into the 2016 National Signing Day with a lot of confidence about the recruiting class that they were going to put together.

It’s another strong class from the Cardinal, as Scout.com has their class ranked 15th with three players in the top-100. The class for the Cardinals is very well balanced, but it also features a lot of depth in the trenches, with the Cardinal loading up on offensive and defensive lineman.

They also nabbed the nation’s fifth-ranked outside linebacker in Curtis Robinson, who came in as one of the most highly touted prospects in the country. On offense, the Cardinal landed two big prospects at the quarterback and tight end positions.

The team nabbed No. 6 quarterback K.J. Costello and No. 2 tight end Kaden Smith. This is a great class for the Cardinal as they continue to add big pieces to their future. They landed a big time linebacker on defense and a great quarterback and tight end to go with great interior depth and other skilled players in this class.

The Cardinal have been one of the crown jewels of the Pac-12 over recent years and this is another great class for them.
