Steph Curry tied his career high by hitting 11 three pointers against the Wizards
Steph Curry tied his career high against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night with 11 three pointers. That was accomplished against the New York Knicks in 2013. He is rewriting three point records almost every time he steps on the court. During the game, Curry set an NBA record for most threes in a quarter with seven threes in the first quarter. He hit seven threes in the game’s first nine minutes. That was a pace that he could not match, but it’s still extremely impressive.
Curry is currently looking to defend his title as the Most Valuable Player in the NBA. Steph has made performances like the one tonight expected and he has done a lot to cement his name atop the contenders for the MVP this season. He leads the league in points per game and is the league’s most efficient offensive player by a significant margin. Just hand it to him now because he has already won it. No one is going to wrestle it away from Steph.
Steph Curry is also the only player this season with multiple 50+ point games as Curry finished with 51 points. Curry and the Warriors are out to prove everyone wrong once again and defend their NBA title.
