What channel will Super Bowl 50 be on?

Super Bowl 50 is on Sunday February 7th. It will feature the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers. The game will start at 6:30 PM Eastern Standard Time. The game can be viewed on CBS and on CBSsports.com. The game will most likely be the ending of a historic era and possibly the beginning of a brand new one.

Sunday’s game could be the last game of Peyton Manning’s career. While he has not explicitly said that it will be his last game, he admits that he is at least considering it. He has apparently told his friends that he will be retiring, but he has not confirmed anything to this point. Manning will be looking to win his second Super Bowl and his first with the Denver Broncos. He also won the Super Bowl with the Indianapolis Colts. Manning will have to be at his best to beat the upstart Carolina Panthers.

Super Bowl 50 could also be the game that signals the beginning of the era of Cam Newton in the NFL. Newton has developed into one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL since being drafted with the first overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft. Newton is a dual threat quarterback with 45 combined touchdowns during the regular season. He is also very good at protecting the football. The Broncos defense will definitely have their hands full as they try to stop Newton and win one more Super Bowl for their sheriff Peyton Manning. The Panthers will be searching for their first Super Bowl victory in the franchise’s history.

Jim Nantz and Phil Simms will be the broadcasters for Super Bowl 50 with Tony Gonzalez, Bill Cowher, Bart Scott and Boomer Esiason serving as the pregame analysts. Tracy Wolfson and Evan Washburn will be the sideline reporters.
