A look at the signings announced by Texas Longhorns football that make up their 2016 recruiting class

The Texas Longhorns entered National Signing Day outside of the top-25 recruiting classes in the country by most of the recruiting services out there. However, Charlie Strong came through in the clutch for Texas football as he seemingly landed big recruit after big recruit throughout the day for his program and has them sitting in a substantially more favorable position after the dust has settled.

The Longhorns seemingly were able to bring in every big prospect that they had their eyes on in the state of Texas, including the headliner of their class in five-star safety Brandon Jones. With all of these signings, Strong has the makings of what could be one of the most dominant defenses in the entire country before too long as this 2016 Texas football recruiting class develops in the program.
