Brothers Brook Lopez and Robin Lopez will eventually be adding “Collaborative comic book moguls” to their collective resumes.
This is not a drill. It’s real life. The Lopez twins have a comic book venture in the works, because why not? Per Fred Kerber of the New York Post, Brook does most of the writing while Robin focuses on the art.
There is no release date, and Brook was contractually prohibited from delving into the juicy details, but we know the Lopez siblings are hard at work, using their vivid imaginations to create original characters who will, presumably, have their own action figures.
Sadly, this implies we won’t be treated to a “The Whimsical Adventures of BroLo and RoLo” comic book series.
Does that necessarily mean their main protagonist won’t be tightly based off an oversized, crazy-haired human who plays in the NBA but also solves crimes, wages wars against mascots and takes spur-of-the-moment trips to Disney World with his equally enormous twin brother while dressed in multicolored capes and other superhero garb?
I sure hope not.
