FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 4
There are only four games in the NBA tonight, but you can still build your DFS Fantasy basketball lineup with the help of my FanDuel Daily Picks.
It’s a light night in the NBA tonight as there are only four games on tap. TNT has a pair of games on national TV while the other two matchups have their own storylines to check out. As you take in the action tonight, set up your fantasy basketball lineup with the help of my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides.

We start tonight with a normal 7:00 PM ET tipoff as the Knicks head to the Motor City to face the Pistons. TNT starts its coverage with that game before picking up the Lakers in New Orleans taking on the Pelicans at 9:30 for the late game. The two games not in the national spotlight also have compelling storylines. At 9:00, the Suns try to get Earl Watson his first win as interim head coach as they host James Harden and the Rockets, and at 10:00, Kyle Lowry and Damian Lillard face off as the Raptors visit the Blazers in Portland.
With those eight teams providing a solid pool of players, there are several good plays to consider for your fantasy basketball team. To see who I’m looking at as good plays tonight, check out my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides. You’ll find two slides per position–one for high-salary options and one for high-value options. Each slide contains at least two selections with extras thrown in where possible. I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.
Last month, I started to rank my picks using stars after each selection. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence. On the final slide of the post, you can see my recent results at each level of confidence. Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineup for today’s contests.
In this post, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to FanDuel pricing and scoring. If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for DraftKings, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on our fantasy basketball hub.
If you have any questions about my picks for today or any of our Fansided fantasy coverage, you can leave them at the bottom of the page in the comments section. For an even quicker response, you can find me throughout the day on Twitter @FansidedFantasy. I’ll answer any rosters questions you have before 7:00 tip-off which is when rosters lock in for the evening since FanDuel still doesn’t allow late-swapping. (If you owned Jimmy Butler like I did yesterday, you know this all to well).
If you find my picks and analysis helpful and would like to check out my DFS fantasy basketball posts each morning, the easiest way to find the FanDuel daily picks is to drop a bookmark on our fantasy basketball hub or follow on Twitter where I’ll tweet out the links each day when my picks go live.
