Johnny Manziel will not be charged by Dallas PD following violent domestic abuse allegations.
The world found out one side of the story surrounding an incident that occurred on January 30th between soon-to-be former Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel and his ex-girlfriend.
Colleen Crowley’s account of that night is about as chilling as it gets, and it reveals Manziel to be nothing short of psychotic. According to Crowley, Manziel had what might have been a drug-induced psychotic break which featured him dragging her by her hair as she screamed to valet for help as well as a moment when Manziel threatened to kill them both.
Dallas police put all of this in their report while investigating the incident, but it doesn’t seem to have had an effect on the outcome of this case.
According to Mary Kay Cabot, there will be no charges brought against Johnny Manziel.
This is going to make a lot of people upset — in fact, anyone with half a soul will be bothered by this. The details in the report that was released on Thursday are graphic and disgusting.
All of this further highlights the fact that Manziel needs help and probably hasn’t hit rock bottom yet. It’s terrifying, and has little to do with football at this point. Manziel needs help, and the fear is that this might not be the bottom for the once promising star. The fact that the report and account from Crowley is so violent and terrifying, yet Manziel has gotten off, will only further fan flames that the NFL and America’s domestic violence problem is only getting worse.
