When asked if he was going to play another season, Marshawn Lynch shut down a reporter with a hilarious response.

Marshawn Lynch had a tumultuous season with the Seattle Seahawks last year. He missed nearly half of the season due to injury and the Seahawks ended up playing their best football without him in the lineup. In the playoffs, the stout Panthers defense held him in check to the tune of 35 total yards.

All of this led to lots of speculation of whether he’ll play for the Seahawks again next season, or whether he’ll retire.

One reporter tried asking him that while he was at the Super Bowl, but he got trolled hard:

The often quiet, reserved Lynch went full Beast Mode on the reporter and killed him with words. The reporter awkwardly tried to laugh off his humiliation, but everyone else knows that we’re laughing at him, not with him. That may be the most amount of words Marshawn has ever said to a reporter.

If it was a reporter working for any other website, Lynch may have just quietly brushed him off. But a TMZ reporter is arguably a celebrity’s least favorite person. If they were hoping to interview anyone else at the Super Bowl, Lynch may have just scared them off. If so, other athletes should be indebted to Lynch’s service.
