Twitter reacted to the Johnny Manziel police report and offered little support.

It appears that the Johnny Football craze has come crashing down. While he was once someone who was almost an anti-hero, but the recent police report detailing chilling allegations of domestic abuse have soured the world on Manziel.

The horrifying account from Colleen Crowley on how Manziel violently abused and controlled her on January 30th has turned the tides against the troubled quarterback in ways we haven’t seen before. In the past, Manziel has been a tragic character who was self destructing. Now his self destruction has a ripple effect that is starting to destroy lives elsewhere.

Social media has turned on Manziel, which seems long overdue.

People on Twitter can crack jokes, but this isn’t a laughing matter. While Manziel has denied the allegations against him, they’re very serious. Crowley’s account of that night with Manziel is about as chilling as it gets, and footballs the absolute last thing that should be discussed about him.

There were rumblings about where he would land next after he was cut by the Browns, but this latest report shines new light on his problems like we haven’t seen yet before.
