Despite being one of the most disappointing teams in the league, the Houston Rockets remain in the thick of things in the Western Conference playoff picture. They beat Phoenix Thursday night, thanks in part to 17 points, nine boards and six assists from James Harden. One of his six dimes was this beauty to a cutting Corey Brewer (via @HoustonRockets):

Anthony Davis remains good at basketball

The Pelicans are another team that has disappointed so far this season, but at least they still have Anthony Davis (via @NBA):

The Knicks lost to the Pistons Thursday night, but staged a furious second half comeback to make it competitive late. Langston Galloway was a big part of New York’s surge, contributing 17 points on 7-for-9 shooting from the floor. He also did sent a flying Reggie Jackson into the first row! (h/t @BleacherReport):

Archie Goodwin has RANGEĀ

The Suns lost again, but, on the bright side, former Kentucky standout Archie Goodwin has been impressive since being inserted into the starting lineup. He’s been so impressive that he’s even hitting buzzer-beating threes off the wrong foot (via @LoveShaq):

Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan are fun

Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan have become one of the best backcourt tandems in the NBA. They also have a Chris Farley-David Spade sort of camaraderieĀ about them. It’s safeĀ to say that chemistry extends to the basketball court (via @Raptors):
