Charles Barkely has some thoughtz and feelz about the Phoenix Suns.

During an Inside the NBA segment on Thursday night, Barkley, who spent four seasons with the Suns as a player, absolutely eviscerated the current state of the organization. His rant lasted nearly five minutes and covered everything from Jeff Hornacek’s dismissal and convenient parking, to flat beer and dirty seat cushions :

To Barkley’s credit, he picked apart Phoenix for the sake of the people, referring to the team’s fans as the best in the world. The Suns, though? He called them trash before lighting into every aspect of the their existence.

Ernie Johnson tried to calm the situation at first, but Kenny Smith and Shaquille O’Neal expertly egged Barkley on.

“What about the pretzels, Chuck?” Shaq inquired.

“Them pretzels are as hard as a rock,” Barkley answered, without hesitation. “They could break your dentures.”

For the record, Phoenix’s hot dog buns and nachos apparently aren’t good, either.

The lesson here, courtesy of the ever-astute Barkley: Never, ever eat or drink anything that comes out of Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix. It’s likely cold, or old, or stale, or patently tasteless.
