Things get started and get busy early with four games tipping off at 7:00 PM ET. The Pacers and Hawks get us started on ESPN while at the same time the Hornets host the Heat, the Magic welcome in Chris Paul and the Clippers, and the Wizards welcome in the 76ers. At 7:30 three more games tip off including an Eastern Conference showdown (Celtics-Cavs) and two Western Conference teams coming east (Kings-Nets, Grizzlies-Knicks) As we move to the West, the Nuggets host the Bulls and the Jazz host the Bucks in a two other inter-conference matchups at 9:00, and the night closes out with a 9:30 tip-off in Dallas as the Mavericks and Spurs meet in a Lone Star state rivalry which serves as the back half of ESPN’s double-header.
With those 20 teams giving us plenty of stars and sleepers to choose from, there are lots of ways to get the fantasy basketball weekend started right. To see who I think are good plays tonight, check out my DraftKings daily picks on the following slides. A few reminders before we get started: you’ll find two slides per position–one for high-salary options and one for high-value options. Each slide contains at least two selections with extras thrown in where possible. I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.
