Pep Guardiola told reporters on Friday that is more than capable of coaching Bayern Munich, despite admitting he will be at Manchester City next season.
Pep Guardiola finally let the worst kept secret out of the bag this week, when he finally admitted that he had come to terms with Manchester City and will be coaching in the Premier League with them next season. The Spaniard’s current club, Bayern Munich, have already announced that former Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti, will be replacing Guardiola at the end of the campaign.
However, despite the fact that the players, fans, and media, know that the 46-year-old is on his way out of the Allianz Arena, Guardiola says that he will not be distracted and that he is more than capable of still doing his job.
"“I am like a woman, I can multitask, I can control both situations, I can think about both situations,” he said, via Goal. “It’s not a problem, I have a big talent for this.”"
Bayern Munich are set for a mouth-watering tilt with Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday, as the Bavarian giants continue to sit atop the Bundesliga table. They have won the league in both of Guardiola’s two seasons with the club, and are well on their way to winning a third straight.
The Spanish tactician’s biggest ambition this year will be to win the UEFA Champions League though, as he hasn’t been able to get his side past the semi-final round of the continental competition. They will meet Juventus later this month in a crucial Round of 16 aggregate series that should have soccer fans across the globe salivating.
