With Super Bowl 50 rapidly approaching, here are the most dramatic finishes in Super Bowl history
There’s nothing like a Super Bowl party. Getting all the good food and friends together for some football and trash talk can even rise the casual fan’s interest.
A room full of people sitting to watch the game is perfect, until the game itself proves to be a blowout. Then you have a house full of people who ate too much, maybe drank too much, and quickly bored of everything but the moderately interesting commercials.
Thankfully while there have been some massive blowouts in Super Bowl history, there have also been plenty of games that lived up to the hype. Ones that kept fans biting their nails to the very end.
Here is a look at 15 games that did exactly that. We rank the dramatic finishes in order, many of which include games where one player goes from a solid quarterback to a legend.
Hopefully for the sake of all of us watching this Sunday, the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers offer a game that gives more drama than yawns. And who knows, perhaps when Super Bowl 50 is done this list will need to be updated.
