Should Peyton Manning come back for one more year, here are five NFL teams that could sign him out of desperation.

Peyton Manning is one of the greatest quarterbacks to have ever played in the National Football League. From the collection of MVP trophies, to all those playoff berths with the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos, to ultimately changing the way the position of quarterback is played from the shoulders up, Manning is, without question, on the shortlist of any “greatest of all-time” discussions.

However, a rapidly eroding physical skill set has ultimately forced Manning’s hand to come to terms that he probably won’t be able to play in the NFL as a 39-year-old in 2016. Many fans and media members expect Super Bowl 50 to be Manning’s final NFL start.

That being said, Manning is an ultra-competitive football player, and hanging up will be a difficult decision. If he truly believes that he can play maybe one more year in the NFL, and should he be released from the Broncos, at least one of the 32 teams in the league would be willing to take a chance on the future first ballot Hall of Fame quarterback in 2016.

Here are five teams in the NFL that could be desperate enough to give Manning a one-year deal to play football for them in the 2016 NFL season.
