It’s not quite the Super Bowl, but the NBA has quite a show of its own tonight to get us ready for the big game tomorrow.  The main event is definitely the battle of the Western Conference heavyweights as the Warriors and Thunder meet for the first time this season. That’s not the only game that should provide some drama though with eight other games making up the earlier part of the schedule for DraftKings.  The main competition doesn’t include the Blazers-Rockets matinee, but the other nine games are provide plenty of options for my DratKings Daily Picks today.

More from Brooklyn Nets

The nine games tonight tip off at 7:00 PM ET or later.  At 7:00, the first two games start as the Hornets host the Wizards and the Pacers take on their division-rival Pistons in Indiana. At 7:30, two more games get underway including LeBron James and the Cavs trying to bounce back from last night’s tough loss as they face Anthony Davis and the Pelicans in the Big Easy. Another team trying to forget last night is the Mavs who head to Memphis to try and erase their embarrassing loss against the Spurs. Also at 8:00, the T-Wolves host the banged-up Bulls playing on the second consecutive night without some of their biggest stars.  At 8:30, the Lakers visit San Antonio where the Spurs are looking to improve to 28-0 followed at 9:00 by the Jazz heading to the desert to face the Suns.  The other game at 9:00 is the first clash of Russell Westbrook and the Thunder with Stephen Curry and the Warriors in what should be a great way to wrap up the evening.

With 18 teams in action, there are plenty of sleepers to go with whatever stars you decide to add to your roster for this Saturday night.  To see who I think you should consider putting on your roster, check out my DraftKings daily picks on the following slides. You’ll find two slides per position–one for high-salary options and one for high-value options. Each slide contains at least two selections with extras thrown in where possible.  I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.

At the beginning of the year, I  started to rank my picks using stars after each selection. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence. On the final slide of the post, you can see my recent results at each level of confidence. Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineup for today’s contests.
