What time will the 2016 Super Bowl halftime show begin on Sunday?

To go along with the big game every season, there have been plenty of iconic moments that have happened during the Super Bowl halftime show. This year during the Super Bowl 50 halftime show on CBS, Coldplay will be performing center stage in Santa Clara.

Along with Coldplay’s performance at Levi’s Stadium, the halftime show is also expected to feature performances from Beyonce and Bruno Mars. Beyonce once performed during Super Bowl XLVII, which featured the infamous power outage afterwards.

Bruno Mars of course was the halftime show the following season at Super Bowl XLVIII, which was about the most compelling thing to watch during a Super Bowl blowout. This year though, those two will be there with Coldplay for perhaps the biggest Super Bowl halftime yet at the golden anniversary of the game.

As soon as the first half of the game is complete, volunteers will rush out the stage setup and the show will begin almost immediately and will almost assuredly feature an incredible spectacle to behold. The game is set to kick off at 6:30 p.m. ET, which means that halftime of the game should happen between 8-8:30 p.m. ET, depending on the game.
