No. 3 Villanova Wildcats vs No. 11 Providence Friars
Villanova is having one of those memorable seasons. Jay Wright saw his Wildcats go 32-2 last season, earning a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament only to get bounced in the round of 32. He’s hoping for different luck this year, but the Wildcats will have to beat Providence to make up for Jan. 24’s loss against the Friars.

The Wildcats are led by Josh Hart who is averaging 15.5 points and 7.4 rebounds per game while shooting over 52 percent from the field. Ryan Arcidiacono is the No. 2 scorer on the team with 12.4 points and four assists per contest. Watch out for Jalen Brunson who has been a stud as a freshman, averaging over 10 points per game.
Providence has lost two of three since beating Villanova a couple weeks ago and is looking to get back on track with a big home win over the No. 3 team in the nation. Sitting at 18-5, the Friars are one of the top teams in the surprisingly solid Big East this season, looking to make a deep run in March.
Kris Dunn might just be the best point guard in the nation this year, or at least the most complete. He might not be leading the team in scoring, but that just goes to show how good Providence really is. Dunn is averaging 17.2 points, 6.9 assists and six rebounds per game while Ben Bentil leads the Friars with 19.7 points.
