Aqib Talib slips on NFL Network stage (Video)

Aqib Talib slipped up early in Super Bowl 50 and then tripped up in his postgame interview. 

It was a rough game for Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib, but he still finished the season on top as a Super Bowl champion. The Broncos had to keep their early lead over the Panthers despite the way that Talib played and the stupid mistakes that he made, but that didn’t change the outcome of the game in the end.

Talib has always been a bit of a clown, but he hasn’t stuck around the NFL for no reason, as he’s one of the best cornerbacks in the league when he has his head on straight and he’s firing on all cylinders. He was maybe firing a little too hard after the game, as he rushed the NFL Network stage but didn’t quite make it.

While running up to the NFL Network stage, Talib slipped and went down:

He popped right back up and was lauded for the way he set the tone early in the game — which apparently was absolving him of the garbage he tried to pull. You get what you pay for with Talib though, and while that involved some rough stuff it also resulted in a Super Bowl win.
