Did Beyonce perform Formation at Super Bowl 50?

Beyonce dropped  brand new song before Super Bowl 50, but did she perform it?

We knew that the Super Bowl halftime show was going to be something that we wanted to watch — and that was only confirmed when Beyonce was announced as being part of the show.

To promote her performance, Beyonce dropped her first new song and video in a while, and it was pretty fantastic. She’s Queen Bee for a reason, and that was something demonstrated this week ahead of her Super Bowl performance. When she did come out for the Super Bowl halftime show, the first song she performed wasn’t her new single, but that’s alright.

What we saw was Beyonce and Bruno Mars have a little West Side Story moment on stage before (likely) begrudgingly bringing Chris Martin back into the fold at the end of Uptown Funk.
