DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy hockey lineup- February 7
Despite the light schedule today, there are plenty of NHL options for Sunday’s DraftKings daily picks.
It’s Super Sunday across America today, but before the big game kicks off this evening, there are three hockey games to help pass the time. Of course, with only three games on the schedule, choosing the best daily fantasy hockey lineup can be tough. FanSided is here to help with your research by providing both high value and high salary options at every position.
The Washington Capitals are back on the ice today fresh off a shootout victory in New Jersey on Saturday. Next up are the Philadelphia Flyers, a team that escaped Verizon Center on January 27 with an overtime victory.
Washington holds a small lead over Chicago for the best record in the NHL and a win today would help distance themselves even further. The Capitals are loaded with talent and it’s likely that several Caps will be highly targeted in fantasy lineups.
After the noontime game in DC, the final two games of the day will drop the puck at 2:30 p.m. ET. The streaking Carolina Hurricanes (6-3-1 in last 10 games) travel to Montreal to take on a Canadiens team that has seen its season quickly slip away.
The other afternoon game features the Islanders taking on the Edmonton Oilers. While there doesn’t seem to be anything exciting that would jump off the paper, an interesting storyline to watch if the return of top draft pick Connor David, who will be playing in his fourth game since missing an extended period of time due to injury.
Any reference to fantasy salaries and points refer to all DraftKings scoring rules and settings.
