Lady Gaga had the national anthem on Sunday for Super Bowl 50 and she did a fantastic job.
Super Bowl 50 is a pretty prestigious event, and with that being the case, the person tasked with singing the national anthem really had to kill it. The person that was tasked with this responsibility on Sunday was none other than Lady Gaga, who a lot of people didn’t really have a lot of faith in.
Yeah, well, those people were pretty wrong.
Gaga, one of the most well-known singers in the world, took to the stage on the biggest one that sports has to offer and she let those vocal chords fly. To the surprise of some people, this was one of the better renditions of the anthem that we have ever seen, to be honest.
There is really not a bad thing that you can say about that. She had one of the biggest stages that any performer could possibly have and she took full advantage of it. That’s the way that you honor the country before the biggest football game of the season.
This is one of those performances that a lot of people will be trying to live up to in the future, that’s for sure.
