One Carolina Panthers fan showed up to Super Bowl 50 wearing an obscure Vinny Testaverde jersey.
There’s nothing quite like wearing obscure to jerseys to games in sports. At Super Bowl 50, one Carolina Panthers fan takes the award for most obscure jersey at the stadium.
It’s one thing to wear the jersey of a former player, but it’s another to wear the jersey of a player that played one season at the end of his career for a team.
That Panthers fan decided to wear a Vinny Testaverde jersey to Super Bowl 50.

In 2007, the Panthers were dealing with injuries to their quarterbacks and signed Testaverde off the streets to his 21st season of football in the NFL. Testaverde was clearly at the end of the career and didn’t have much left in the tank, but he stepped in valiantly as a veteran for the Panthers.
He’s probably not going to be remembered much in Panthers lore as he only spent part of his final season with the franchise, but it was enough for this fan to get himself a Testaverde jersey. It’s certainly obscure and there’s lots of questions to be had.
However, there’s no denying that this fan had a lot of belief in a quarterback in his 21st season during a 7-9 campaign.
