Peyton Manning may have played his last ever game but at least he’ll still collect endorsement money from Papa John’s.
Peyton Manning may have just ended his storied career with a Super Bowl win. If this is it for the Sheriff, it was a storybook ending and none better than he deserves. In the end, he should retire because there’s no shortage of endorsement money he can get by staying on with Papa John’s. In fact, that may have been the only thing on his mind when the final whistle blew:
And then when he was asked if this really was his last year, he deflected the question by trying to play his cards right and get another endorsement deal in:
In all seriousness, if this is it for Manning, he has left behind a great legacy. He may not have been the reason the Broncos won the Super Bowl, but the defensive unit united behind making sure Manning would end his career with a win in the Big Game. It’s only a matter of time before we see his name in Canton.
