While they had the best defense in all of the NFL this past season, there were not a lot of people that believed the Denver Broncos could make it to Super Bowl 50, mainly because of their offense. In particular, it was the woes of Peyton Manning that had people thinking they could not get the job done.

Manning is definitely one of the best to every play the position, but the fact of the matter is that the 2015 season was not kind to him. He suffered through some poor play as well as injuries, and he was in serious danger of losing his job. But when this team needed him the most, he came through for them and he did take them to the promised land.

Now on Sunday as the Broncos took on the Carolina Panthers, Manning had one last shot at glory and adding a second Super Bowl ring to his collection. This is a ring that eluded him two years ago, and on Sunday he had the chance to finally grab it as he potentially rides off into the sunset.

By the time all was said and done on Sunday, Manning indeed was able to get that second ring in his career, as the Broncos defeated the Panthers 24-10 behind a stifling defensive effort. It was the perfect ending to the season for Manning, who again had struggled through a lot to get to this point.
