18. 1993 Dallas Cowboys (SB XXVIII)

The current Dallas Cowboys may struggle to remain competent, much less to be in contention for a Super Bowl, but there have been multiple eras in which the franchise has been dynastic without question. The 1990s would qualify as one of those times and, as they went on to win their second-straight Super Bowl in 1993 with Jimmy Johnson holding the clipboard, they put forth an outstanding effort.

The usual suspects for the Cowboys teams of that era were there on the offensive side of the ball as Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, and Michael Irvin led the way for Dallas as thy had the No. 2-ranked offense in the NFL on the season. However, their defense was up there as well as they also posted the second-best scoring defense in the league behind Ken Norton, Kevin Smith, Russell Maryland, and Tony Tolbert on that side of the ball.

The Cowboys went 12-4 in the regular season, which ultimately hurts their ranking in comparison to the other great teams in history. However, they unleashed the fury in the playoffs as they won all three postseason matchups by double-digits, including a 30-13 shellacking of the Buffalo Bills in the Super Bowl, their second dominant win over the Bills in the big game.
