Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry pounded the Carolina Panthers’ drum as the Panthers ran onto the field at Super Bowl 50.

The Carolina Panthers were the first team to be announced at Super Bowl 50 since they were the designated visitor. As the Panthers were getting to run out onto the field, Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry pounded on the giant Panthers’ drum to lead the team out on the field.

The mantra for the Panthers is “Keep Pounding” and Curry let out a thunderous roar as the Panthers made a sick entrance at the Super Bowl with flames, fireworks and smoke in the air.

Curry is great friends with Panthers quarterback Cam Newton and the Panthers are his favorite team being from North Carolina. When Curry and Newton are in the same building, both have a great record and can’t be stopped.

Curry got his championship last season with the Warriors and is looking to add another in a record year this year. At Super Bowl 50, he’s there to see his buddy try to win one and hopefully celebrate his favorite team winning a Super Bowl.

There wasn’t a better choice for someone to pound the drum than the reigning NBA MVP.
