Super Bowl 50 food prices (Photo)

It will cost an arm and a leg to enjoy a burger and fries at Super Bowl 50.

For fans wanting to enjoy a nice meal before or during Super Bowl 50, they may have sticker shot when arriving at the cash register with the prices of simple food items.

A cheeseburger or a vegan cheesburger will cost fans $15.00. If you want to add fries for the combo, then expect to hand over almost another 10 dollars. If there’s any consolation, the prices on the screen includes sales tax, but taxes isn’t the main reason why Super Bowl 50 food prices are so high. The event is one of the highest attended sporting events throughout the year and fans will pay for food and drink no matter the cost.

Cost of attending a Super Bowl no matter what stadium it is in is a dream come true for many fans. The cost of food, drink, transportation, and any other extras is outweighed by remembering how great the memory of being there in person will mean 20 years from now.

Sporting events are great to attend in person and leagues like the NFL know fans will buy food no matter what. The demand is there so the prices unsurprisingly go up at the Super Bowl and is one of the reason why the league makes big money off the biggest event on the sporting event calendar every year.
