Super Bowl 50: Luke Kuechly absolutely destroys Demaryius Thomas (Video)

Luke Kuechly laid one devastating hit on Demaryius Thomas on Sunday in Super Bowl.

There are very little folks out there that will argue with you that Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly is one of the best defensive  players in all of football. For the past few seasons this Boston College product has done nothing but prove this time and time again, and on the biggest stage Sunday, he was at it again.

And poor Demaryius Thomas had to pay the price for that.

Early in the second quarter of Super Bowl 50 on Sunday, the Broncos had the ball and Peyton Manning wanted to go over the middle to his well-known wide receiver. Well, what Manning didn’t pay attention to was the fact that Kuechly was coming in like a missile, and this is what we got from that play.

Oh. My. Goodness. Now that was one of the more beautiful defensive plays that you will ever see, and of course it came from one of the best in the game.

At the same time, though, some of the blame has to be placed on Manning, who almost got Thomas killed here by not paying attention to where  Kuechly was.
