After CBS officiating expert Mike Carey incorrectly predicted the outcome of a challenge, Twitter roasted him.

When Mike Carey is brought in to give his opinion on challenges on CBS, he hasn’t had the best track record overall. The former ref has had a knack for incorrectly guessing what will happen before the ref comes back on the field to announce the decision.

During the first quarter of Super Bowl 50 between the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos, there was a play on the field by Panthers wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery, who bobbled a pass and it was ruled incomplete on the field. It looked like a catch and Mike Carey was brought on to give his thoughts.

Carey thought it would be ruled a catch as the ball never touched the ground and gave his opinion to everyone watching at home. Instead, it was the ruling on the field stood as called and it remained an incomplete catch.

After getting another call wrong, Twitter absolutely roasted Mike Carey.

People’s patience for Carey had already ran thin as it was. Now that he got another call wrong on the biggest stage of the season, people have about had it with him.
