After Daniel Bryan announced his retirement, Triple H thanked him for a great career and Wrestlemania moment.
One of the greatest to ever step into a wrestling ring announced his retirement on Monday. After dealing with a neck issue and plenty of lingering injuries, WWE superstar Daniel Bryan officially announced his retirement on Monday, after a career that spanned the globe and produced some of the greatest wrestling matches in history.
With Bryan announcing the end of a great career, everyone began tweeting him thank you messages and showing him support. One of those that thanked Bryan was WWE COO Triple H. Triple H thanked Bryan for a great career and the Wrestlemania moment that they had together back in New Orleans at WrestleMania 30. In a nice little twist, he also called him an “A+” player.
One of my favorite @WrestleMania moments ever.

Always have been and always will be an A+. #ThankYouDanielBryan pic.twitter.com/DBVaeuFQvO
The buildup between Daniel Bryan and Triple H leading up to WrestleMania 30 was one of the greatest stories that the WWE has ever told. Bryan wasn’t considered the norm for a champion by WWE standards and a story was created of him overcoming Triple H and “The Authority” at the biggest show of them all.
Not only was it the biggest moment of Bryan’s career, but it also helped blaze a trail for plenty of independent talents across the globe to reach the big stage and earn the spotlight for themselves. There came a time when independent talents were ignored in favor of the bodybuilding types.
However, through hard work of guys like Bryan and many others before him, the independent types have been able to break through and show why they deserve to be at the top of the card along with everyone else. The Wrestlemania 30 match between Bryan and Triple H really highlighted a new beginning in wrestling today.
