DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 8
These DraftKings daily picks highlight the best DFS fantasy basketball plays from tonight’s ten solid NBA matchups.
The NBA gets the week off to a good start with a early-loaded schedule tonight with games mostly up and down the East Coast. There are a total of ten games on the schedule to start this post-Super Bowl week, and the 20 teams on the floor give us a solid group to pick from for daily fantasy basketball tonight. Check out my DraftKings daily picks on the following slides to see who I think you should roster tonight.

The games get started in a hurry tonight with four games starting at 7:00. The Hornets and Bulls are the only all-Eastern Conference matchup while the Kings-Cavs, Lakers-Pacers, and Clippers-Sixers are all inter-conference matchups that also tip off at 7:00. At 7:30, the Raptors and Pistons meet in the Motor City in a nice matchup while the Nuggets and Nets meet up in Brooklyn. At 8:00, three more games join the fray as the Hawks and Magic complete their home-and-home, the Blazers visit the Grizz in Memphis, and the Pelicans host the Timberwolves in a matchup of supremely talented young big men. The final game of the day starts at 9:00 PM ET as the Thunder visit the desert to try to shake off their loss on Saturday night in a thriller at Golden State. OKC takes on the hapless Suns who have won just two of their last 24 games, but there is still fantasy value to be had from some of Phoenix’s emerging players.
To see all the players I like from the 20 teams, check out my DraftKings daily picks on the following slides. You’ll find two slides per position–one for high-salary options and one for high-value options. Each slide contains at least two selections with extras thrown in where possible. I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.
At the beginning of 2016, I started to rank my picks using stars after each selection. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence. On the final slide of the post, you can see my recent results at each level of confidence. Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineup for today’s contests.
