High Value PG

Archie Goodwin-Phoenix Suns (5,200): Goodwin continues to start and play big minutes at the point for the Suns who are without Eric Bledsoe and Brandon Knight.  Goodwin has played pretty well with at least 23 fantasy points in six of his last nine and each of his last three.  Goodwin has over 23 fantasy points in each of Earl Watson’s three games as head coach, and he’s a solid value option against the Thunder who allow the fourth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PG.

Elfrid Payton-Orlando Magic (5,200): Payton is still adjusting to playing with Victor Oladipo alongside him in the Magic backcourt, but he looked pretty good yesterday afternoon with 12 points and 12 assists against the Hawks on his way to 35.8 fantasy points. He has been up and down lately, but since he’ll take on Teague and the Hawks for the second day in a row, he’s a solid play tonight.

Norris Cole-New Orleans Pelicans (5,100): Cole had 26 points in 34 minutes against the Cavs on Saturday producing 32.9 fantasy points.  He has a least 32 fantasy points in four of his last six games and continues to be a solid fill-in for the injured Tyreke Evans. Since Evans is out until after the All-Star break, Cole should get plenty of minutes tonight against the T-Wolves who allow the third-most fantasy points to opposing PG.

Darren Collison-Sacramento Kings (4,800): Collison has been picking up good minutes lately with at least 14 points in each of his last five games and over 24 fantasy points in four of those five games.  Collison doesn’t start and can sometimes get inconsistent minutes, but he has a good amount of upside tonight in Cleveland especially after putting up 27.4 fantasy points yesterday in Boston.  He will get extra scoring responsibility if Rudy Gay is still out today. No Gay-∗∗∗ With Gay-

Cory Joseph-Toronto Raptors (3,900): Joseph has at least 15 fantasy points in each of his last seven games, and he’s the option I’d go with if you have to go ultra-cheap at PG. Joseph has played over 23 minutes in each those seven games and he should get plenty of time off the bench for the Raptors tonight against the Pistons.
