Now that the NFL season has come to a close, when can we expect to see the full schedule for 2016?

Super Bowl 50 has now come and gone, and with that the sad realization has set in that football is now completely over for the 2015 season. So that being the case, it’s now time to start thinking about what we have coming up for the 2016 NFL season. But before we could really start diving into that full force, we need to know the schedule we’re looking at for the upcoming season.

One of the biggest parts of the NFL off-season is the release of the official schedule, telling us when some of the biggest games of the season will be taking place. We get a look at the dates and times for the matchups that we will all be looking forward to.

So now there might be some of you that are wondering when we will get to see this schedule for the 2016 NFL season. Now that we’re all through with 2015, we want to know this information ASAP.

Well, there’s a bit of a wait before we see the entire NFL schedule.

Generally as of late, the league has been releasing the NFL schedule on the third Thursday in April. So, using that timeline, we should expect to see the release of the schedule on Thursday, April 21. And also, as is the case every year, the release of the schedule will be broadcast live on the NFL Network, and of course some of the bigger games will be leaking throughout the day.
