Rajon Rondo pass starts LeBron James fast break (Video)
Rajon Rondo made a perfect pass to start a fast break, just for LeBron James and the wrong team
The Sacramento Kings were inevitably going to be the underdogs on Monday night as the traveled east to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers. However, Kings point guard Rajon Rondo certainly wasn’t doing his team any favors in the first half as he, well, was actually doing LeBron James and the Cavs favors with his passing.
With Cleveland already well ahead, Rondo was driving across the baseline and looked to make a kick-out that he’s made roughly 10,000 times before. However, his pass went a little high and wide and actually ended up being a dime to Cavs superstar LeBron James to start a fast break that LeBron finished with ease on the other end:
You’re certainly not going to have much of a chance at taking down the Cavaliers making plays like that.
Rondo has really played like a rejuvenated man this season in his first year with the Kings, but he’s also a player that has always been prone to these types of mistakes over his career. He has a tendency to get a bit wild or reckless with his passing, though not all of them wind up essentially working out to be assists to the opposing team’s best player.
