Covering Super Bowl 50 as a credentialed photographer for The Players’ Tribune reached Kevin Durant on many profound levels.
Too bad his Oklahoma City Thunder partner in crime, Russell Westbrook, doesn’t care.
Durant shared his experience from Sunday’s big game, calling it one of the “top five best times of my life,” almost right up there with getting drafted into the NBA. But while he was gushing about that opportunity, Westbrook was behind him, diligently, and expertly, bending his face into the most snarky of expressions:

Best part of all this? Durant doesn’t seem to have any idea what’s going on right behind him for most of the clip. He keeps talking and reflecting. “I’m definitely gonna sit down and have glass of pinot noir and talk about this for a long time,” he said, as Westbrook did his best disinterested-teenager-meets-bewildered-turtle impression.
A few side glances and shifts in posture suggest Durant inevitably caught on mid-soliloquy.
Or maybe not:
All of this either means Durant and Westbrook have forged a sound, incorruptible friendship, or that Durant will be demanding Thunder general manager Sam Presti trade the point guard any day now.
