After North Carolina head coach Roy Williams collapsed on the bench, Twitter sent out an outpouring of support for the coach.
During Tuesday night’s ACC basketball battle between the North Carolina Tar Heels and Boston College Golden Eagles in Boston, there was a scary incident that occurred on the North Carolina bench during the game.
During a second-half timeout, North Carolina head coach Roy Williams suddenly collapsed and began holding his head as he fell to the ground. He was immediately tended to by people on the bench and Williams was rushed to the back to receive attention from medical personnel that were on standby.
While the Tar Heels were engaged in a tough battle with the Golden Eagles, all attention suddenly turned to the health of one of the most legendary coaches in college basketball. As everyone in the arena immediately showed concern for the health of Williams, there was an outpouring of support on Twitter for the North Carolina head coach.
Hope Roy Williams is ok. Never wanna see anything like that happen to anyone! Hopefully he'll be on the court next Wednesday!!

The good news coming out of the locker room is that Williams appears to be okay. It’s moments like this that it’s important to remember that there are things that are bigger than the game.
