Atlanta Hawks vs Chicago Bulls

Looking to end a two-game skid and get back into the win column while making a run toward the No. 1 spot in the Eastern Conference, the Atlanta Hawks will face a tough road matchup on Wednesday. Mike Budenholzer and the Hawks have gone just 4-7 in their last 11 games and will look to get back on the right track against a fellow foe from the East.

Paul Millsap and Al Horford are two post players who you never want to have to face as an opposing team. Trying to stop both on the same night is virtually impossible. Millsap leads the team with 17.8 points and 8.6 rebounds per game while Horford is putting up 15.2 points and 6.9 boards per game.

Chicago is also trending in the wrong direction, looking to gain momentum back and shoot up the standings once again. Jimmy Butler suffered a knee injury last week and has been ruled out 3-4 weeks while the Bulls are in a major skid of their own. Over the past 17 games, Chicago is just 5-12 and searching for answers.

The Bulls have gone from one of the top-four teams in the East to No. 7 in a matter of weeks. Butler’s 22.4 points will be desperately missed, but Pau Gasol is just going to have to step up as well as Derrick Rose — if he can stay healthy as well. Gasol is averaging 17 points and 10.9 rebounds per game while Rose tallies 15.9 points and 4.8 assists per contest.
