The Phoenix Suns have been one of the worst teams in the NBA this season. They own the second worst record in the Western Conference and the third worst record overall with a 14-39 record entering February 10th. What’s worse is that they have been one of the most dysfunctional teams in the league as well. That will likely leave to some offseason changes. It boiled over on Wednesday as forward Markieff Morris got into a fight with shooting guard Archie Goodwin.

This fight will likely expedite Morris’s inevitable departure from the Suns. Morris has been on the trading block since the summer and managed to lessen his trade value since then. He has spent most of the season coming in off the bench and sulking. That doesn’t look good when the Suns are trying to trade him. This will make it even more difficult to trade him.

Markieff Morris has 11.3 points per game this season for the Suns. He also has 5.2 rebounds per game with 2.3 assists per game. Morris is making less than 40% of his shots in 24.5 minutes of playing time per game. His departure will be an ugly one thanks to moments like this.
