What will the rosters look like for the USA versus World Rising Stars Challenge at the 2016 NBA All-Star Game?

The Rising Stars Challenge will be taking on a familiar format at the 2016 NBA All-Star Game in Toronto. In 2015, the Rising Stars Challenge’s format was changed to an international one that put the USA up against the rest of the world. That format will be returning in 2016. Young superstars from the United States of America will take on their peers from all over the globe at the NBA All-Star Game weekend.

Here are the rosters for both teams.

USA

Guards: Jordan Clarkson (Lakers), Rodney Hood (Jazz), Zach LaVine (Timberwolves), Elfrid Payton (Magic), D’Angelo Russell (Lakers), Marcus Smart (Celtics)

Forwards: Jabari Parker (Bucks), Nerlens Noel (76ers)

Centers: Karl-Anthony Towns (Timberwolves), Jahlil Okafor (76ers)

THE WORLD

Guards: Bojan Bogdanovic (Nets), Mario Hezonja (Magic), Emmanuel Mudiay (Nuggets), Raul Neto (Jazz)

Forwards: Andrew Wiggins (Timberwolves), Clint Capela (Rockets), Nikola Mirotic (Bulls), Kristaps Porzingis (Knicks)

Centers: Nikola Jokic (Nuggets), Dwight Powell (Mavericks)

Look for the matchup between Towns and Wiggins. Andrew Wiggins was the star of the Rising Stars Challenge last season. Towns looks to be the most dominant player this year. It should be interesting to watch them compete against each other since they are currently teammates. Kristaps Porzingis is going to make at least a few jaws drop as well. There’s a lot of talent this year and it should be an entertaining game.

The 2016 NBA Rising Stars Challenge is on Friday, February 12th.
