Former USC Athletic Director Pat Haden collapsed on the USC campus Wednesday afternoon.

Pat Haden, the former USC Athletic Director who announced his resignation from the post just last week, collapsed on the USC campus Wednesday afternoon. Haden has had some issues with his health recently, collapsing on the Notre Dame sidelines just last year.

The good news seems to be that while the situation here appeared scary, Haden was alert and apparently was just feeling another bout of dizziness. He was transported to the hospital for further observation.

It’s good to know that at the moment it appears Haden will be alright following his latest brush with his health.

Haden’s health had become a bit of a hindrance in his personal and professional life recently. It was one of the factors that led to his decision to step away from the Athletic Director post and it also led to him announcing last year that he would be stepping down from the College Football Playoff Committee, of which he was a prominent member.

Scary news today out of Los Angeles, but hopefully Haden can kick this latest health scare and get better as quickly as possible.
