Peyton Manning tops NFL jersey sales in six states

Peyton Manning is selling a lot of jerseys and he’s owning six states in the process.

This past Sunday night we were treated to Super Bowl 50, and what a magical ending that game had. Of course, after the game was over everyone was talking about Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning finally getting that second Super Bowl ring that has eluded him for so, so long.

Manning, although his play dropped off a bit the past few seasons, is still one of the most popular players in all of the NFL and he will be for as long as he is a part of the league. With that popularity, too, comes a lot of jersey sales, and that was no different this season.

But just how popular was Manning’s jersey this season? Well, as you’ll see in the graphic below, it’s really up there in popularity and demand.

The Broncos legendary signal-caller is actually leading jersey sales in six states within the country, according to the DICK’S Sporting Goods Jersey Report which represents sales both nationwide and online.

You can say what you want about the way Manning has played as of late, but one thing that you cannot argue is that he is not still one of the most popular players in all of the NFL. When your jersey sales are owning six states, that really is a testament to not only how popular you are as a player, but how respected you are as well.

Now all we have to do is wait and see whether or not Manning will be on these lists next season.
