Watch Leafs prospect Mitch Marner humiliate the entire Niagara Ice Dogs (Video)

Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Mitch Marner scored an incredible goal in the OHL, giving fans hope for a better tomorrow.
Times have been tough for Toronto Maple Leafs fans. Sure, they traded away one of their most polarizing figures, but it hasn’t concealed the fact that they have been the worst team in the league — and will get even worse when they sell off more assets at the trade deadline. On some nights, they’re borderline unwatchable and look like they could be beaten by their own AHL team. However, that might be a good thing considering that this is a rebuilding season and seeing the team’s high-end prospects do well is an encouraging sign for their future development.
While William Nylander has been lighting up the AHL, this year’s draft pick Mitch Marner has torched the competition in junior. And against the Niagara Ice Dogs, he pulled off one of the most incredible moves you will ever see:
For a player that’s been called the next Patrick Kane, he’s certainly making believers. He was also one of the bright spots on a Canada team that looked completely out of sorts at the World Juniors, putting up six points in five games.
So Leafs fans, even though it may be hard to watch your NHL team, just watch the Marlies or the London Knights instead if you want to see a competitive team and gain hope for a brighter future ahead.
