Philadelphia 76ers. 4. team. 93.
The Sixers (still) boast the league’s worst record at 8-45, but a single victory this week keeps Philadelphia out of the bottom three. Yes, Brett Brown’s team managed to topple the Brooklyn Nets at home.

In the grand scheme, Philadelphia is absolutely brutal to consume on a nightly basis, and that even takes into account that they have some interesting talent in the form of Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel. The Sixers are a horrid offensive basketball team, and given that they may not crack 15 wins on the year, the team remains a permanent fixture in this space.
. (8-45). Previous:

(14-40). Previous: . Brooklyn Nets. 3. team. 147.
On the bright side for Brooklyn, they should probably be worse than 14-40.

This week’s loss to the Sixers is a black mark, but this Nets roster could make an argument for overachievement on the whole, and two wins over Denver and Sacramento in recent days are nice. Brook Lopez and Thad Young should both be on the trade market but, well, the Nets don’t have a general manager, and the coaching staff is in an interesting spot after the firing of Lionel Hollins.

The future is ugly, but Brooklyn’s overachievement should be considered this year.
