Predators center Ryan Johansen got trolled on Twitter by teammate Mike Fisher’s wife, Carrie Underwood.
The Nashville Predators have been having a lot of fun on the ice recently. Most of that is thanks to the addition of center Ryan Johansen, who the Predators traded for back in January. Johansen has four goals and 11 assists for 15 points with the Predators in 15 games entering Saturday’s game against the Florida Panthers.
During their 4-3 overtime loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning, Johansen was caught kissing his stick by teammate Mike Fisher’s wife, Carrie Underwood. Underwood couldn’t help herself as she went after Johansen on Twitter and chirped him about his “relationship” with his stick. The former American Idol superstar showed why Fisher married her in the first place – her great personality and sense of humor.

After his time in Columbus, I’m sure Johansen took the jokes in stride. He has a ton of reasons to be happy. Johansen is playing in a great hockey city and he’s finally on a team that’s going somewhere. Nashville must feel like heaven compared to Columbus.
The Predators are looking to claw their way back into the playoffs for the second straight season in the tough Central Division. Nashville has still never been the Stanley Cup Final, hoping to finally change that miserable fact in 2016.
